Expansion joints, or transverse joints, prevent cracks in concrete slabs by allowing movement during expansion and contraction caused by changes in temperature. Filling these joints with a rigid epoxy can cause cracks in the product or elsewhere in the slab. When a rigid epoxy product is not an option, rely on the flexibility of Loctite® Fixmaster® Urethanes and Urethane Hybrids.
